Hey everyone (: I really don't know how to make an animation with screencaps. I want to make a mini-movie icon.
Every tutorial I can find is for Photoshop or something else, but I'm using Gimp.

Does anyone know a tutorial for that? 

I'm glad about every help!

LOVED this set from the beginning. it made me want to hear bossa nova all ova! and I changed my hair to match. I also love the new asymetrical dresses (gimme the red!) and the celebrity dresses (red & gold), and there's still limiteds to come! Ack! I'll have to stay up until 4 am for these? I might have to miss them in that case.

Also, the fur shawls. They're......not for every one.

If I do get one, it will be my pet fox personally. IDK, our ancestors used fur as well as animal skins & bodies to keep warm and sustain life. Even now we still do (everything from wool sweaters & leather to eating beef & chicken), and it's not like this is the first showing of fur on poupee. I love animals, but for me at the end of the day, it's just pixels like everything else. We all have a right to how we feel though, and truly, if you dislike/are horrified by them, show it by not buying them. I just think that as long as we respect each other and our varied opinions, we can't go wrong!

So with that said, Show me what you got, poupees!

I'm going through some tutorials that use selective color. When I went to try the tutorials in Photoshop CS2, I noticed that there's an option on selective color that can be set to "Relative" or "Absolute". When I'm trying out a tutorial, which setting should I have it on to achieve the demonstrated coloring?

Guh...(that's a noise of apprehensive frustration)...
So, I've never done a photo manip before, I don't really know HOW I feel about this, but I wanted to post it anyway. I figured, since I can't draw/paint/do anything remotely visually artistic, I would try to give something to the House art community (since it's far too small). I'm still getting used to photo shop, I hope I can get BETTER. Anywho, I decided that this was how the dock scene should have ended.

I was working on these icons [which took me FOREVER], then my laptop shuts down unexpectedly. Is there a way to bring these files back??
